Its his voice that makes this band different to every other band. If he growled all the time they’d sound like trivium or canibal corpse. If he screamed they’d be like countless shit bands (sorry I can’t think of any lol) but you get my point.

David has a very good voice, I like how he can change it depending on the emotion he wants us to feel.
