Saturday, January 9th, 2010Bandcamp – A Great Way To Sell Your Music
Tuesday, January 5th, 2010I’ve recently come across Bandcamp.com and I’m impressed with the service it provides for artists/bands (and for music fans for that matter.)
It lets bands sell their music as downloads so that the bands themselves keep all of the profit from those sales. Screw the record labels. It’s the artists that should be making money [...]

Podcast #066: Phish, Best of Big Cypress Improv
Friday, January 1st, 2010Our illustrious Mr. Whitperson was feeling a bit under the weather today, but he had some time to put together a rocking podcast to pay homage to the 10 year anniversary of Phish’s Big Cypress NYE2000 celebration down in Florida, easily one of the most important concerts of the decade. Live Blog: Gov’t Mule @ The Beacon Theatre 12/31/09
Thursday, December 31st, 2009Well I’m going to give it a shot again this evening. All the standard disclaimers apply – I’m going to get songs wrong (or more likely, not be able to identify them) particularly during the 2nd set. Please do not take the ‘live’ list as gospel. This time I’m going to avoid using my phone until I walk into the Beacon to reserve as much battery-power as I can. Pictures will be added once I’m home from the show. Have a happy and safe NYE everyone!
