It seems like she comes out of the pattern and walks to him to try to get him to acknowledge her, like maybe she would give him another chance. But when he wont get over things she did, she goes back to the wall and ultimately loses her paint which makes me think that was her final straw and now she is done for good.

@TheZapperAP Is it just me, or does it seem like things flip around at the end? By the end of the song he seems to have resolved himself to the situation, but he’s reopened old wounds for her so now she’s the one with no paint, the one who is exposed and in pain in the aftermath of their relationship. I just figured there had to be some reason she lost the paint at the end. He seems to have shut her off just as she pays attention to him again. Just a thought.
