Men have traditionally been the main force in the hip-hop genre. Hip-hop artists of the past have had to prove their macho credentials, so that their peers would accept them amidst the constant conflicts of urban life.
Hip-hop culture is a fusing energy, a powerful blend of free enterprise, social activism, imagination as well as orginality that attracts the young generation worldwide.
